Hello 4^th Grade Parents,

I want to let you know we will be writing an informative/explanatory report this month.  Your child will pick one of the systems in the body to do their report on: nervous, muscular, respiratory, skeletal, or digestive.

I have purchased 5 books on each system to show them texts that will support their writing, however, this will not be enough.  So, if you are able, please take your child to the public library in the next week so they can check out a book on one of the body systems so they can do their report.  As well, I am going to see what we can do about checking out books from our own school library.  There will be no Internet research this time, strictly text book research.

The Brain: Our Nervous System Simon, Seymour
Guts: Our Digestive System Simon, Seymour
Bones: Our Skeletal System Simon, Seymour
Muscles: Our Muscular System Simon, Seymour
Of course there are other text books out there on these systems, please do not feel limited to this author.

I told the students they may not choose the circulatory system because I am demonstrating my writing with this system.  Thank you for your understanding.
